The Speed Art Museum has partnered with Google to present the 2012 Doodle 4 Google™ Contest. Google doodle is the fun versions of the Google logo that are displayed on the Google homepage throughout the year in celebration of holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of notable artists and scientists. Google hosts an annual Doodle 4 Google contest in which students across the U.S. have submitted their own Google doodle -- the best of which will be displayed on google.com.
This year’s theme, “If I could travel in time, I’d visit...” has inspired schoolchildren across the nation to submit their masterpieces. The Speed Art Museum will host the top doodle submissions from the Commonwealth and display them in the Museum’s galleries this summer from May 26 to July 8, 2012.
