Valvoline Instant Oil Change(SM) is celebrating the opening of five new Louisville-area service centers by raising money for Opening Gates, a local nonprofit horse therapy group. The fundraiser is in honor of a local third grader, Ethan Vaughn, who is using horse therapy to overcome behavior issues associated with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and excel in school. Come meet Ethan and his therapy horse, Bear, as they demonstrate the horse therapy tasks that help children thrive.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change will “pony up” $10 per oil change on April 9th, at each of the five new locations in the Louisville area. Their goal is to raise $3,000 for Opening Gates to help buy a shed that will provide shelter for the horses and additional space for kids and horses for therapy tasks.
Money raised will also help treat Ethan and his family to a day at the Kentucky Derby!
