Poland’s Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice and the Czech Republic’s Janacek Conservatory in Ostrava are partnering with the University Of Louisville School Of Music’s Opera Theatre to present Mozart’s “Don Giovanni.”

Widely regarded as the greatest opera ever composed, Mozart’s masterpiece will be performed twice in Bytom, once in Katowice, Poland. Then in Ostrava in the Czech Republic. All European performances will be the first week of December. The opera will be performed Jan. 24 and 26, 2014, at the Brown Theatre in Louisville.
