Albert Roberts, “The Doctor” will visit Locust Grove on Saturday, September 22nd. Visitors can speak with the federal-era doctor about early 19th century medicine. Learn about common surgical techniques of the day including bleeding, dentistry, musket ball removal, amputation, even cranial surgery. This educational first person presentation will coincide with a “room exhibit” displaying medical equipment of the era. These items will be on display in George Rogers Clark’s room in the historic house from September through November.
