On February 26, 2014, Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana will hold the annual Desserts First fundraising event in Louisville. Louisville’s finest restaurant chefs create original desserts using the well-known Girl Scout Cookie varieties as the key ingredient and present them for tasting at the Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center.

This signature event is open to the public at large and creates an opportunity in which adult guests may network and enjoy an evening with friends, while sampling delicious, one-of-a-kind desserts created for this event only. The evening also includes music, hors d’oeuvres, a judging crowning the best dessert of the event, and many more surprises! Guests will also vote and participate in the “People’s Choice” awards.

All funds raised from this event go to Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana, which serves over 17,000 girls and 6,500 adult volunteers in 64 counties in central and western Kentucky and southern Indiana. Tickets: $50. Corporate tables of 10 available for $1000.
