The Crescent Hill Old-fashioned Fourth of July Celebration will run from 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. on both July 4th and 5th, with Zambelli Internationale Fireworks about 10 pm both nights! Festival is held on the historic, shaded grounds of the Peterson Dumesnil House, 301 S. Peterson Ave. Complimentary Shuttle picks up attendees from surrounding streets and Baptist Seminary parking lot off Grinstead Drive.
Live music on two stages starts at noon Thursday and 11 am Friday and features top local and regional talent with something for everyone—Bluegrass, Country, Classic Rock, Gypsy Jazz, Folk, Americana, Dixieland Jazz, Celtic, Singer-Songwriter, Pop, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and Top 40! Fifteen new music acts in 2013 and 35 hours total of live music.
Juried Artist work on display each day from 10 AM to 6 PM (or later).
Antique Car Parade on the 4th starts at Masonic Home at 11:30 am and vehicles also will be on display at the Peterson Dumesnil grounds til about 2 pm, Childrens’ Field Games, Children’s Activity Area with Bouncies, Putt Putt golf, remote car racetrack, and large corn hole obstacle course. Add food court, cake wheel, FABA Beer Tent, Peterson Dumesnil House silent auction and a pet contest at 1 pm Friday (Tara Bassett, MC) and you have the makings of the best little (BIG) 4th of July celebration in town!
