Friends and family bind together to create a charity event for a friend, mother, and wife. The night will consist of two well-known comedians, silent auction and dinner.

"She would be putting this event on if it were one of her friends. She's a remarkable woman and deserves our attention and love," says family friend Gina.

Recently diagnosed with ALS, she has decided to share her journey with the world. Her Facebook profile reads:

"#TeamDewey is to raise awareness of ALS as I live my life. Wife, mommy, sister, friend, PTA board member, girl scout leader, teacher and friend. Before my diagnosis on June 5th,2014 it was "Lou Gherig's disease"-- the baseball player, right? Today it is my disease....and Deb and Jodi, Trickett, Mike, Beth and Sarah's + 30,000 more!"
