Club Bellydance (composed of five dancers from the Bellydance Superstars, the most famous touring belly dance group in the Western world) will be coming to the Clifton Center on Friday, October 7, for a joint concert with some of the best belly dance and ethnic dancers in the region.

The BDSS is professional touring group formed by Miles Copeland (who also managed REM, Sting and the Police).  They started out in 2003 as part of a rock and roll tour but quickly became their own touring entity.   Club Bellydance is a subset of the BDSS, touring North America in October 2011.

The local dancers are also an eclectic and innovative group.  The program includes Egyptian,  Turkish, American Tribal and experimental (X-Med) belly dance, Central Asian and Bollywood dance.   It will be dance entertainment that moves and delights.
