The Clifton Center, located at 2117 Payne Street, will host the first event in “The Clifton Fifty” series on Thursday, November 8th at 7:00pm featuring an interactive presentation by Director of the Kentucky Resources Council - Tom FitzGerald. Mr. FitzGerald has been KRC’s Director since 1984, and he has participated in almost every public policy debate involving environmental and natural resources issues in Kentucky for the past 30 years. The topic of the evening’s conversation is “Margaret Mead Was Right!” This event is free with a suggested donation, and it is part of the 2011-2012 MINI of Louisville LIVE at the Clifton Center programming season. The Clifton Fifty is a series of conversations featuring some of the most interesting people and ideas of the day. With topics ranging from art to science and technology, The Clifton Fifty will bring attendees close to the people and ideas that are shaping our world. Taking place the second Thursday of each month beginning at 5:30pm, the events include appetizers from Frankfort Avenue restaurants and a cash bar, and then at 7:00pm, a fifty minute of conversation about one great idea.
