Chasing Ophelia is a new play by Doug Schutte, opening at The Bard's Town Theatre (at The Bard's Town, 1801 Bardstown Rd). The production is directed by Scot Atkinson, and stars Ryan Watson, Beth Tantanella, Nadeem Zaman, Jason Cooper, and Tad Timberlake.    

Developed by Schutte while working as a Treadwell Fellow at Shakespeare's Globe in London, Chasing Ophelia is a fast-paced comedy that both pays homage to--and pokes fun at--the poetic genius of William Shakespeare as it charts the course of newly-formed character Ned Mark. 

Chasing Ophelia was a National Arts Club New Play Award Semi-Finalist in 2010, and makes its premiere at The Bard’s Town Theatre.
