Chasing Ophelia is a new play by Doug Schutte, opening at The Bard's Town Theatre (at The Bard's Town, 1801 Bardstown Rd).   

Developed by Schutte while working as a Treadwell Fellow at Shakespeare's Globe in London, Chasing Ophelia is a fast-paced comedy that both pays homage to--and pokes fun at--the poetic genius of William Shakespeare as it charts the course of newly-formed character Ned Mark. 

Chasing Ophelia was a National Arts Club New Play Award Semi-Finalist in 2010, and makes its premiere at The Bard’s Town Theatre.
