Join Loren Tapahe, a Navejo, and Selene Phillips, Ojibwe, in exploring the challenges and opportunites in Native American journalism. Tapahe is the owner of the Arizona Native American Scene, co-founder of the Native American Journalists Association, and president/CEO of of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Arizona. Phillips is an experienced journalist and current professor at the University of Louisville. The event reception will begin at 6:30pm and the the presentation and discussion will begin at 7:00pm in the interactive media lab downtown. This event is free and open to the public.
