Hear, hear! December 5, 1933, marked the repeal of Prohibition in America. After 13 dark years of Prohibition, the 18th Amendment was repealed, saying so-long to bootlegging and making it legal to once again, IMBIBE. Imagine how thirsty for the good stuff those people must have been! Your Bourbons Bistro is bringing you a Repeal Day for the books!
On Thursday, December 5th, beginning at 6:00 pm, our celebration begins. Drink specials include two-bit (25 cents) whiskey shots and two-bit (25 cents) bites. In addition, we will be playing prohibition movies throughout the evening in our bourbon barrel inspired bar area. Prohibition and flapper-era costumes are strongly encouraged! A $50 Bourbons Bistro gift certificate will be awarded to the best costume.
