We will have the house open for the public and reenactors will be in each room of the house to show the Speed family during the 1860,s as they lived. There will be Lucy Fry Speed having tea with the ladies in her room as Lincoln speaks to Attorney General James Speed in the Library. John Speed will be in his office Writing letters and doing Plantation Business. A Civil War solider will be in his tent in camp by the creek, using the camp fire to write a letter home to his parents telling of yet another brother that has fallen. The Carriage house will have kids crafts for the children.
