In two short years, The Buckhead Border Challenge has become one of the premier triathlon events in the region! Offering one of the most unique and challenging courses around. As always, we strive to provide multisport athletes a big-time event with a professional venue and amenities previously only found in the larger events outside of the region. In addition, the Buckhead Border Challenge will offer participants a memorable course along with unmatched professionalism in event management and customer service.

The Buckhead Border Challenge will consist of an Olympic Distance Triathlon (1500 meter swim, 40K bike and 10K run) and a Sprint Distance Triathlon (approx. 400 meter swim, 13 mile bike, 5K run). There will also be Sprint Duathlon (1 mile run, 13 mile bike, 5K run and Olympic Duathlon (2 mile run, 40K bike, 10K run). In addition, there are also relay divisions for the Olympic and Sprint distance triathlon (2 or 3 person).

POST-RACE
Awesome post race refreshments for participants. Quick/personalized results with full split information immediately after you finish. We also promise a fun and entertaining awards ceremony with fun music and some great eats! Plan to stick around and celebrate your finish with us on the river!

SPECTATORS
There will be lots to keep your friends and family entertained while you are on the course. We will have plenty of food and drink offerings, music and entertainment for the whole family.

USAT SANCTIONED
This event will again be sanctioned by USA Triathlon. All USAT rules will be enforced. Event is limited to ages 15 and over for ALL divisions. You must have a valid USA Triathlon Membership card or purchase a $12 One Day Membership.
