A TRUE LABOR OF LOVE, bourbon aficionado Chet Zoeller conducted years of research to uncover the complete history of bourbon distilling and distilleries throughout Kentucky. He has created a publication of his findings, cataloging almost 1,000 distillers and brands across the Commonwealth—from farmhouse mashers to the major industrial concerns, and from the late 1700s to the present day. Chet will share some of the stories he has uncovered about Kentucky distillers and Kentucky Bourbon - but you will also learn the"Proper" way to drink (sip) a glass of bourbon.
Join us in the Wine Studio on Saturday November 02 where Chet will be guiding us through a classroom style tasting with Jefferson’s line of their Regular, Reserve and Rye whiskeys. A reception will follow with passed appetizers and specialty cocktails made with the bourbon. Chet’s book “Bourbon in Kentucky: A history of distillers in Kentucky” will be available for purchase.
