Moonshine University, 801 S. 8th St., will host an enthusiast class on Bourbon in the Kitchen with culinary professor and author Albert Schmid Thursday, Aug. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. Attendees will discover bourbon’s unique culinary character during the cooking class lead by Schmid, a Sullivan University professor and author of “The Kentucky Bourbon Cookbook.” The two-hour class will give students tips on pairing bourbon with food and creating bourbon-infused dishes at home.
