Blue Moon Circus Seeks Permanent Home

Blue Moon Circus is a circus and side show troupe of performers from Louisville, KY and Southern Indiana. We provide massive crowd pleasing entertainment with feats of strength, glimmering beauty, mastered talent, dare devil stunts and high flying divas. Such acts include: juggling, hula hoops, belly dance, side show stunts (bed o' nails, etc), aerials (trapeze, etc), clowning, fire eating and fire spinning, and more!
This humorous and wild troupe was founded in May 2007 by yours truly, Laurel Fleury (stage name: Ember), starting out with just 3 members who spun fire and shocked the audiences with side show devilishness. The troupe quickly grew in members adding belly dancers, aerialists and more. Over the years, Blue Moon Circus has not only produced their own shows but, has performed for corporate parties, birthday parties, luaus, anniversaries, holiday parties and fundraisers.
Now, with over 30 members, we are looking for a permanent home to practice together on a more regular basis and create costumes and props. Our own homes are exploding with props and costuming so much that there is no space to create and very little to rehearse. We have started a gofundme account to help raise money for this permanent home of preferably 1500 sq ft or more and to help fund our upcoming show, Zodiac, at the end of July. We are also having a live fundraiser April 19th at historic Nelligan Hall!

Juggling, aerials, contortion, belly dance, side show, clowning, "Kiss a Freak" booth, carnival foods and more! Also featuring photography from our previous shows by Ron Bushaw. And, as always, our show will be interactive! Muhahahaha!
