The Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind is partnering with Alliance Française de Louisville for a celebration of all things French to commemorate Louis Braille’s birthday. We’ll celebrate the achievements and the legacy of Louis Braille, the inventor of the code used worldwide by the blind to read and write. Because Louis was born in Paris, our birthday party features all things French. Participants will sample French cheese and bread, and petit fours, and enjoy music and poetry of the period.
The event is free, but space is limited, so registrations are required. Call 899-2213 by January 5 to register.
