An original exhibition, Big Leagues, Little Bricks, featuring amazing sculptures, portraits and stadium replicas created with LEGO(r) bricks is now open at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory. The exhibit is included with your admission to LSM&F and runs through September 2.
The exhibition showcases renowned artist Sean Kenney, one of only 13 LEGO Certified Professionals in the world. Kenney's pieces includes hip portraits of baseball superstars Derek Jeter, Joey Votto and Buster Posey, dynamic conceptual sculptures of iconic baseball moments and a show-stopping replica of historic Wrigley Field.
Another awesome piece on display is a replica of Milwaukee's Miller Park built by Tim Kaebisch while he was a gradute student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Miller Park creation utilizes more than 35,000 LEGO bricks and has a retractable roof that actually moves.
Along with stunning artwork, Big Leagues, Little Bricks will also provide a hands-on opportunity for guests to build their own art created with LEGO bricks.
