Betty L. Campbell is a Hardin County Kentucky native. She graduated from Elizabethtown High School and Asbury University. Winning awards both in high school and university setting for art performance motivated her to continue in the art field. She taught for 7 years on Jr. High, high School, Adult Education and special Education levels. Betty studied after graduating from Asbury at the Columbus Ohio School of Art, The Museum School of Art in Cincinnati, University of Louisville, and Louisville Art School. She has studied with William Earl, Dr. Walter Sorge, David Leffel, Michael Workman, Sherri McGraw, and Cindy Kelly Overall. She was invited to show her work alongside her college professor Jesta Armstrong Matherly in 2009 at Asbury University Main Library. She and Cindy Kelly Overall had an exhibit at B. Deemer’s Gallery in Louisville, October of 2011. She will also have another exhibit at B. Deemer's March 15, 2014 titled "Remembering Holland"
