On Friday, October 19th at 7 PM (at our Frankfort Ave store location), Carmichael's welcomes best-selling author Karl Marlantes for a reading and signing of his book "What it is Like to Go to War," a powerful and profound account of combat and a critical examination of how we might better prepare our soldiers for the psychological and spiritual aspects of war. Marlantes is also the author of the highly-acclaimed novel "Matterhorn" about the war in Vietnam. Please join us for this very special event.
