The Bellarmine University Civic Orchestra will perform a concert in the Wyatt Center for the Arts on Bellarmine’s campus at 4 p.m. on December 8.
This concert will feature holiday themes, as well as themes from Halo, Civilization IV, the Bounty Hunter and Kingdom Hearts. This public event is directed by Aaron Boaz, music director and adjunct faculty member at Bellarmine.
Also featured in this concert is WFPK radio personality, Sean Cannon. Cannon got his start in the music world on the web. Over the years, he has written plenty of headlines and made a few of his own while at the forefront of Buzzgrinder.com. He also helped build AOL’s Noisecreep.com into the largest heavy music site on the internet.
Additionally, he’s spent plenty of time as a show promoter, boxer of rock stars, newspaper man and graphic designer. Currently, Cannon is working at night for WFPK in his “After Dark” segment. These segments feature interviews with popular musicians, artists, actors, authors, etc.
The price for the event is $10 general admission and $5 for students with a valid ID.
This event is sponsored by Bellarmine’s music department. For more information contact Boaz at aboaz@bellarmine.edu .
