On Tuesday, Oct. 4, Basa, a modern Vietnamese restaurant, will present a wine dinner hosted by Master Sommelier Brett Davis and Frédéric Brouca of Jean-Marc Brocard. Located in the Chablis district of Burgundy, Jean-Marc Brocard is one of the region’s leading wineries and is particularly celebrated for its Chablis. Guests at the wine dinner will enjoy four courses with wine pairings prepared by Basa chefs Michael Ton and Allen Heintzman. Basa is also partnering with The Wine Rack to host an after-dinner reception. Complimentary wines and cheeses will be offered at the shop, which is located a short distance from the restaurant at 2632 Frankfort Avenue, and guests can purchase wines from the dinner at a 10% discount.
