The Bard's Town celebrates the ridiculously wonderful nature of Derby by making it more ridiculously wonderful. For 12 solid days, The Bard is holding THE party of parties, with daily food specials, daily cocktail specials honoring Derby winners of the past, and a host of performances unlike anything else in Louisville.

Highlights include:

The 4th annual Funny Cide of Louisville Comedy Contest (this year, a 3-on-3 Improv Tournament!)

The Great Creamboat Face (grown-ups on tricycles drinking beer and getting hit in the face with whipped cream pies)

The 24th Annual WING DING

"Greetings from Cherokee Park," a Springsteen-themed book launch event by Louisville author Erin Keane.

The Stable Barn Party (where everyone is a celebrity!)

Drunk & Sailor Derby Night Pirate Sing-a-long
