ArtsWORK-New Albany is presenting a series of free monthly workshops at the Carnegie Center for artists focusing on career development skills and issues faced by artists with disabilities. On Saturday September 24, 2011, from 10-11 am, Sarah Frederick, a well-known ceramic artist, will talk about her life in art, early decisions about teaching, running a business and the curious path to artistic and commercial success, and also why, at this time, she has stepped away from ceramics and adopted hand-made paper as a medium. She will show pictures of her work. Pre-registration required (812-944-7336).
