ArtsWORK-New Albany is presenting a series of free monthly workshops at the Carnegie Center for artists focusing on career development skills and issues faced by artists with disabilities. On Saturday June 25, 2011, from 10-11 am, Louisville artist Lisa Austin will speak about “Mid-Career Crisis”: how a successful and well-established potter had to start over and successfully reinvented herself as a mixed media artist. She will also talk about the emotional component of that as well as career logistics. Pre-registration required (812-944-7336).
