Sew a Maxi Skirt
Tuesday October 22nd 6pm-8pm $20

Come make your own maxi with us! This two-hour class is hosted by Rachel French, aka Venomiss, and will cover the steps in constructing a basic maxi skirt — from start to finish, from your customized pattern to your very own wearable garment. Sewing machines (as well as pattern-making material and tools) will be provided by Ms. French. Students can register through the boutique, and should bring 2.5 to 3 yards of their chosen fabric. A stretchy Jersey knit is a great idea for beginners, and right on trend!

Wire Wrapping Jewelry
Wednesday October 23rd 6pm-8pm $25
Basics of wire wrapping will be taught including loops, head pins, and ear wires and shepards hook clasps. Wire wrap single bead ring, birds nest, and rosebud ring techniques will also be taught. You will leave with examples and finished rings.

Photo Transfer onto Wood
Saturday October 26th 11am-1pm $15
Learn an easy process to transfer photography into unique artwork! Bring in a personal photograph and learn to transfer it onto wood. You’ll come out learning a new skill that you can use in future craft projects at home. No photography or craft experience necessary!

Bookmaking
Sunday October 27th 11am-1pm $30
Create your own poetry journal, sketchbook, scrapbook, or unique art piece! You will learn several book binding techniques, including the one-sheet eight page book, pamphlet stitch, and stab binding. You will also learn how to create homemade paper which can later be incorporated into your book. Please bring photos, mementos, or other paper with designs and patterns of your choice to personalize your book.
