The Animal Care Society, Louisville’s first No-Kill shelter, announces the Grand Opening of The Re-Tail Thrift Shop in Jeffersontown (10519 Watterson Trail) on August 6 from 10am-6pm. The store will feature items for the home, unique finds and even items for four-legged family members. Profits from The Re-Tail Thrift Shop will benefit the Animal Care Society and its mission to find forever homes for dogs and cats in Louisville. About ACS
Founded in 1984, ACS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit No Kill adoption agency for dogs and cats and is a privately funded, volunteer driven organization whose financial support comes solely through annual subscription memberships, donations, fundraising efforts and adoption fees. ACS receives no federal, state, or local government funding. ACS provides responsible and humane treatment to dogs and cats until appropriate homes are found.
