The Animal Care Society, Louisville’s first No-Kill shelter, announces the Grand Opening of The Re-Tail Thrift Shop in Jeffersontown (10519 Watterson Trail) on August 6 from 10am-6pm. The store will feature items for the home, unique finds and even items for four-legged family members. Profits from The Re-Tail Thrift Shop will benefit the Animal Care Society and its mission to find forever homes for dogs and cats in Louisville. Founded in 1984, ACS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit No Kill adoption agency for dogs and cats and is a privately funded, volunteer driven organization whose financial support comes solely through annual subscription memberships, donations, fundraising efforts and adoption fees.
