Producing Artistic Director J. Barrett Cooper directs COCAINE by Pendleton King. Two lost souls cling to each other in the wee hours of a summer morning contemplating love, need, and death. Tennessee Williams' 27 WAGONS FULL OF COTTON, directed by Jennifer Pennington, is a sultry tale of revenge and innocence lost. Jake, a Mississippi cotton gin owner, burns the mill of his rival, who retaliates by seducing Jake's fragile young wife. Elia Kazan's 1956 film BABY DOLL was based on this play. Finally, Charlie Sexton directs William Saroyan's HELLO OUT THERE. In a small Texas jail, a young gambler and a girl who cooks for the jail fall in love at first sight and make plans to run away together, but fate has other plans.
