Every July the ACA hosts a most fabulous convention not to be missed! It is here that you will witness the most spectacular collection of the finest cichlids to be found. The yearly convention is an action-packed, non-stop weekend filled with world-renown speakers, workshops, vendors, raffles, specialized Study Group meetings and incredible side trips, all culminating in Sunday's magnificent cichlid auction! Most importantly, you will always find the warmth and fellowship of being amongst fish, friends, and fun! Dry Goods on Thursday starting at 4:00 PM
Dry Goods on Saturday startiing at 4:30 PM
Cichlid & Catfish on Sunday; registration runs 8 AM - 10:30 AM and auction begins at 10:30 AM. This is the only auction open to the general public. All other auctions require registering for the event.

A quick thought and a hearty WELCOME to anyone that has not attended an ACA convention! You'll have a blast, will likely be overwhelmed by the fish, the fish celebrities (including my idol, DR WAYNE), the incredible amount of info and the amazingly friendly people. Bring lots of money, forget sleep, eat too much and leave feeling morally bankrupt. Plan on staying up 'til 4 AM the day after your return so you can put your new treasures in their new homes. Drag whatever ya got left into work the next day and know you participated in the premier cichlid event of the entire year.

If you have been to a convention before, see you there. Bring good beer to trade (for other beer, of course), support the ACA BABES, talk some trash-I mean fishkeeping wisdom-and talk to everyone.
