Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation is partnering with The American Chestnut Foundation (TACF) to plant three potentially blight resistant American chestnut trees in Des Pres Park (4709 Lowe Road) on December 6, 2014, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Following planting activities, chestnuts will be roasted on an "open" fire for all to taste!
