Actor, director, producer, and humanitarian, Danny Glover has created an enduring legacy on stage, on screen and in communities all around the world. Through his quarter-century of performance, he has exhibited an unparalleled degree of artistic excellence. Glover is a leader in the international film community. In 2005, he founded Louveture Films, a film company dedicated to the development and production of films related to historical relevance, social justice, and artistic integrity.
Glover is much more than his immense artistic talent however. His passion for worldwide equality and social justice is well-documented. From 1998-2004, Glover worked tirelessly in Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations. During this stint, he tackled the issues of economic development, healthcare, and poverty. He also currently serves as a UNICEF Ambassador.
