The Falls of the Ohio Foundation announces its 7th annual Rock the Rocks fund raising event scheduled for Saturday, August 20, from 6-10 p.m. at the Falls of the Ohio State Park Interpretive Center in Clarksville, Indiana. Proceeds will benefit the Foundation’s Crossroads Campaign for New Exhibits.
“This year’s event theme of A Mammoth Event is in celebration of renovations in the Interpretive Center rotunda as part of our Crossroads Campaign for New Exhibits,” announces Diane Swank, The Falls of the Ohio Foundation President. “Patron’s will be among the first to experience the mammoth in its new location and be dazzled by a unique, blown glass sculpture suspended from the rotunda ceiling.”
Rock The Rocks – A Mammoth Event will also feature live music by Persuasion, dinner by Terri Lynn’s Catering, Bourbon Tasting by Jim Beam Brands Co., Handcrafted Beers from New Albanian Brewing Co., a silent auction and raffle, fossil bed hike, bird watching, and viewing of the Interpretive Center exhibits. The dress is casual. Tickets are $75 in advance and $100 the day of the event. Tickets are available for sale by calling 812-283-4999.
