Dalton is our 7 year old son who is affected by cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy and severe social anxiety. Dalton has also been deemed legally blind. Our family is working hard to raise the funds necessary to obtain Dalton a service dog that can assist him with these special needs.
We are fundraising for 4 Paws For Ability, a non-profit organization with 501c3 status. All proceeds benefit this organization directly.
In order to be eligible for a custom-trained service dog for Dalton, we are responsible for fundraising. For every dollar that we raise, Dalton receives one point. We are responsible for collecting 13,000 points.
We are hosting a flapjack breakfast at the Applebee's on Hurstbourne.
Breakfast will will include: A stack of three pancakes, 2 pieces of sausage and your choice of beverage.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and will be mailed or you can pick them up at the door.
The question that most people are asking is: Will Dalton be there? We are going to attempt to have Dalton there. We never know what sensory issues come up. If he is tolerant, he will stay. If something in the facility creates anxiety, he will be taken back home to his place of comfort. This is a big reason that we are fundraising for the service dog in the first place.
We hope to see you there!
