Another great event to put on your list for May’s Hometown Tourist Month is the 2nd Annual Old Louisville SpringFest, presented by the Old Lousiville Neighborhood Council, Old Louisville Chamber of Commerce and District 6 Councilman David James.\
This year’s Fest has expanded to two days, Friday, May 17th from 5 – 10:30 pm, and Saturday, May 18th from Noon to 10:30 pm. The event is held on 1st Street and Ormsby Avenue between Oak and Magnolia Streets. This Fest is a great way to view the city’s unique treasure of Historic Victorian homes.
Friday night’s entertainment will add to the happy hour atmosphere that will also feature the 100+ local arts and crafts vendors, food from local restaurants and food trucks, and plenty of libations thanks to partners Heaven Hill, Bud Light, BBC Brewing Company, and the new Old 502 Winery.
Saturday features the Kosair Chairities KidsZone from noon - 6 pm where there will be bouncy houses and other activities for children 12 and under. There will also be a Tennis Under Ten activity and everyone will be welcome to check out one of the local fire trucks...and word has it, the mounted police will be there too!
Thoroughout the two days there will be live, local entertainment. This year’s lineup includes:
