The Ramble for the Roses is an official Kentucky Derby Festival event that features a non-competitive 5K walk through beautiful Iroquois Park. The walk begins and ends at the Ramble Mini-Festival, located next to the playground and tennis courts off New Cut Road. The Ramble Mini-Festival offers a variety of fun and informational booths, inflatables, and services that are family-friendly, as well as food & drink concessions. The event is held adjacent to the state-of-the-art Sunnyhill Playground, featuring rope bridges, slides, a swaying boat, a fenced playground for toddlers and 3 swing sets. Sunnyhill is handicap-accessible with a rubberized surface.
Entry Fee to walk is $20-Adult/$10-Child. Each paid registrant receives a free Ramble T-shirt and a voucher for free ice cream or fruit.
Free parking is available at the Iroquois Amphitheatre and at DeSales High School. No rain make-up date is scheduled; walk, rain or shine!
