With over 2,000 in attendance in 2012, the St. Matthews Community is expecting another record breaking crowd for this year’s “Light Up” St. Matthews. On Saturday, December 7, 2013, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, family fun and entertainment, sponsored by the City of St. Matthews and the St. Matthews Area Chamber of Commerce, will kick off the holiday season with the 23rd Annual “Light Up” St. Matthews in Brown Park, located at Brown’s Lane and Bowling Boulevard.

“Light Up” St. Matthews features letters to Santa, pictures with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, entertainment, coloring contest, a petting zoo, cookies, hot chocolate and cider, and much, much more.

Holiday music and entertainment will be provided by N2It. Brown Park will “Light Up” with tens of thousands of lights at 6:00 pm.

Everything is free. Bring your families and friends and help us celebrate the holidays as we “Light Up” St. Matthews.

While parking at Brown Park will be limited to handicapped parking on the day of the festival, free parking and trolley service will be provided at the Baptist Hospital East Doctors Office Building, at the corner of Kresge Way and Browns Lane, at St. Matthews Elementary School and Waggener Traditional High School, both on Browns Lane.
