Join us for the New Albany-Floyd County Secondary Schools Art Show and Competition, April 12-27, 2013. Explore the work of talented NA-FC student artists grades 5-12 in this exhibit held just for them. There will be a reception on Thurs. April 25 from 5-6 pm at the Carnegie Center for the public to view the work before the awards ceremony, which will begin at 6:30 pm in the New Albany High School auditorium at 1020 Vincennes Street. Please enter the high school at door #2 for the awards presentations. These events are free and the public is invited to attend. The Carnegie Center will remain open until 6 pm for those who would like view the artwork and enjoy music performed by members of the New Albany High School orchestra, prior to the awards presentations at the high school. Carnegie Center hours Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5:30 pm. Admission is free.
