We’ve learned that the greatest challenge for a family enterprise is to pass leadership, along with the founder’s vision, values, and experience on to a new generation, who have their own values, ideas, experience and perspective. They respect each other, but they need to make an active commitment and dedicate the time to building a bridge not only across the generations but among siblings, where the founding ideals and experience are valued, but adopted to new realities.
How exactly do you convert this active commitment into practice? How do we talk to one another across the generational divide? How do we look beyond family dynamics to craft more effective ways of solving problems together?
This interactive workshop will demonstrate how this cross-generational and intra-familial dialogue can work, and how the differences between family members can become not a conflict or obstacle, but a creative force for positive adaption for the family and the business. There will be a presentation followed by hands-on practice in how a family can work together more effectively.
