Brandon B Shatter Harrison is a relatively recent transplant to Kentucky. Having
traveled all over the Midwest and East Coast following his passion he has started
building a hive of activity here in Louisville. If you would like to see what that activity
looks like in person, come out to his Winter Soul-Spit Slam.
On Saturday, December 20 at 8pm, 25 poets will gather at McQuixote Books & Coffee for Brandon B Shatter HarrisonÕs Winter Soul-Spit Slam. A
slam is a friendly but intense poetry competition, a place of community and education.
Everybody wins but only one person will take the gold.
Grand prize for HarrisonÕs Winter Soul-Spit Slam is $125 with poets traveling from
Georgia, Missouri, and Texas to participate, as well as a large number of local poets.
