Where will you be when the mega powers of facial hair clash in Louisville?

We hope at Whiskermania, the first charity facial hair competition in Louisville history presented by the Derby City Whisker Club. This event will bring together unmovable beards and unstoppable mustaches from all over the city, state, region, country and world to have their facial hair judged in 13 different categories.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to Active Heroes, a 501(C)(3) charity based right here in Louisville that helps active duty military, veterans, and their families through physical and mental therapy, home repairs, community outreach, and community reintegration to halt the trigger points of stress associated with "hard times" that lead to suicide.

This event will also include food trucks, vendors, raffles, and live performances from Slow Joe Crow & The Berserker Blues Band and Hoot Von Woot.

Whiskermania will be held at the Tim Faulkner Gallery (1512 Portland Ave, Louisville, KY 40203). Doors open at 6 and the competition begins at 8. Admission is $10 for competitors and spectators alike. This is a 21 and over event.
