Most of us know the importance of having a warm winter coat. One eight-year-old boy who spends a lot of time on the ice says he's on a mission to make sure everyone has the opportunity to stay warm this year.
Colin began his “Warm Hearts, Warm Bodies” charity just a few years ago. He’s since gained a lot of support not only from friends and family but the entire local hockey community.
Colin's goal is to keep shelters like the Open Door Mission stocked with supplies all winter. It's something even organizers at the Mission said touch their hearts. Chris Scribani of the Open Door Mission said, “We're just really blown away by this kid. He's got some great ambition, passion and when he made up his mind to do this he really followed through on it.”
