A Tribute to Trees

Can you imagine picnicking at Bernheim in the heat of summer with no trees to offer shade? Bernheim is an Arboretum and a forest, both of which imply and abundance of trees. But what if the trees we know and love begin to disappear? In conjunction with the Morton Arboretum exhibit Vanishing Acts: Trees Under Threat, Bernheim has established a small collection of Kentucky trees that we should all be concerned about losing. Join Wren Smith to pay tribute to these trees, learn about some of the threats facing them, and the things each of us can do to protect them.
