Join Tressa Brown, with the Kentucky Native American Heritage Commission, to learn about the history and contributions Native Americans have made to Kentucky’s rich cultural heritage, and how lingering stereotypes continue today. The Kentucky Native American Heritage Commission was established in 1996 to recognize and promote Native American contributions and influence in Kentucky’s history and culture.
The Locust Grove Afternoon Lecture Series is held the first Wednesday of each month. Dessert and coffee are served at 1:00 pm with the lecture immediately following at 1:15 PM. Admission is $6, $4 for Friends of Historic Locust Grove. Reservations are not required
