Marking 10 years on Main Street this year, 21c Museum Hotels, Proof on Main and executive chef Mike Wajda will host Taste of 21c, a series of collaborative dinners featuring the executive chefs from each 21c restaurant. The first in the series is set for Thursday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. and will feature executive chef Jared Bennett of Metropole, located at 21c Cincinnati.
Throughout the series, dinner menus will showcase the unique culinary character of each visiting chef and restaurant.
“21c has always been an incubator for exceptional food and beverage talent. Each restaurant and chef has a distinct personality and point of view,” said Sarah Robbins, 21c Museum Hotels chief hospitality officer. “Ten years later, we’re excited to bring the full-circle 21c experience to guests of Proof on Main.”
The Taste of 21c dinner with executive chef Jared Bennett will begin with passed canapés, followed by a tapas-style dinner served family style. Dishes will be comprised of fresh spring produce from Woodland Farm, coupled with ingredients charred in Metropole’s wood-burning fireplace. Metropole was named to Condé Nast Traveler “15 Best New Restaurants” in the Midwest category in 2014.
