Beginning on April 20, 2017, Twilight Tours at the Conrad Caldwell House Museum will begin. Guided tours of the mansion will be offered throughout the spring and summer, every third Thursday of each month until September 21, 2017, with extended tour offerings at 5 pm and 7 pm. Come and witness how the museum lights up once night begins to fall. The museum is gorgeous during the day, but it is unrivaled with more of its colors and grandeur on display in the evening hours.
In tandem with the museum's Twilight Tours, CCHM welcomes attendees to come early or stay late and join us at the Twilight Tours Lecture Series at 6 p.m. occurring in April, July, August and September. On April 20, David Dominé will present his lecture on Hidden Past & Secrets of Old Louisville. Bob and Victoria Ullrich will present their Germans in Louisville lecture on July 20. The next lecture, Historical Firehouses of Louisville on August 17, will be given by Cletus Blandford. The final lecture given by Linda Morris, Conrad descendant & Docent, is on September 21 detailing the museum's first occupant of the house, Conrad & His Castle.
