The Kentucky Derby Festival is partnering with the Louisville Bicycle Club to produce PNC Tour de Lou, scheduled for Sunday, April 28, 2019. The Festival’s sixth annual bike event is for riders of all levels of experience.
The Tour de Lou route will be an open course, which will start and finish at Waterfront Park near Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville. There also will be three separate distances based on experience levels.
The course highlights include an Olmsted Park Tour, including Shawnee, Chickasaw, Wayside, Iroquois and Cherokee parks. Cyclists will also travel through all areas of the city from Downtown and Churchill Downs to the South End and Highlands.
