On August 6, Bristol Bar and Grille Highlands, 1321 Bardstown Road, will kick off the planning for the Warrior Empowerment Foundation’s annual Tribute to Troops Benefit. The “Toast to Troops” event will feature drink specials from Buffalo Trace. Partial proceeds from everything sold between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. will benefit the Warrior Empowerment Foundation which serves, supports and empowers injured members of the United States’ Armed Forces and their caregivers. The event is free and open to the public.
