Each artifact in our museum collection contributes to the fascinating history of education for the blind, a story that leads from Parisian street performers and Austrian royalty, through "The War of the Dots," and "The Miracle Worker," to the technological marvels of the present day. Through the artifact, we can connect to a moment in time, a person's life, or an ingenious idea that changed someone's future. We'll examine ten items from our collection close-up, and uncover what each of them tells us. The event is free, but registrations are required. Call 502-899-2213 or email kcarpenter@aph.org to register. Best for older children and adults.
